Vote For Best Place to Buy Sports Gear

Where do you go for balls, bats and racquets?

The spring sports season is among us, and that may mean you need new equipment.

Radnor Patch wants to know where you buy the things for your or your children's sporting.

Is it , , , , New Balance or ? Or do you buy your equipment used at annual sales or in thrift stores like the Alley Door?

Or is there another local spot that we missed? Then tell us in the comments section below. Polls will close at 9 a.m. on Friday.

This week's winner—and future winners—will be determined by a new set of rules. We've implemented a point system in which the actual votes here will now account for 50 percent of the decision. How highly each business or location is rated on its Patch Place listing will account for the other half.

Do you buy your sports gear in a Bryn Mawr or Gladwyne store?

Do you buy your sports gear in Marple or Newtown?

Do you buy your sports gear in Tredyffrin or Easttown? Vote Here.

So vote for your favorite sporting good store, but don't forget to click on the links above and rate each business. You can also leave a review. If there is a tie, we will help break it by counting the positive comments written below about the tied businesses, so let us know why you think your choice is best.

Bill - you can't compare a family owned sports store to a chain. What they can't offer in bulk discount pricing, they more than make up in customer service provided by the great Wayne Sporting Goods employees. They are always helpful and if they don't have an item, will offer to order it for you. Shopping at Models (and other chains), I feel as if they are doing me a favor just to ring up my purchases! Wayne Sporting Goods is also very generous in their support of local fundraisers. Support Small Local Businesses - if we don't, we'll be left with nothing but chains who could not care less about the individual customer.
