Volunteers Clean Up Downtown

A record number of volunteers cleaned up downtown Bethlehem in honor of Earth Day

A record number of volunteers - including a team of local editors from Patch - spent Saturday morning in downtown Bethlehem picking up trash and planting flowers.

The project was part of the Downtown Bethlehem Association's Earth Day celebration. Close to 70 people participated.

Volunteers assembled at Main and Broad Streets around 9 a.m. supplied breakfast featuring fresh fruit and home-baked goods.
