Southwestern Themed Restaurant Opens Today

Moe's Southwest Grill on Schoenersville Road celebrates today by giving away cards for free burritos for a year to the first 10 customers.

 

A new Southwestern-themed chain restaurant celebrates its grand opening today on Schoenersville Road in the city.

, which boasts natural, healthy ingredients, will open its doors for the first time at 11 a.m. To mark the occasion, it will be giving its first 10 customers a gift card for free burritos for a year -- 52 burritos. Customers can also get a free side of Queso all day.

All meals, including signature items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos packed with a choice of over 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kids, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

The Atlanta-based chain has been in existence since 2000 and already has more than 420 restaurants across the country. The restaurant serves no food with trans fats or MSG and never uses a microwave oven, according to its Website.

In addition to dishes with colorful names, one of the restaurant’s more unique touches is its soundtrack, which features nothing but dead musicians.

The restaurant at 3211 Schoenersville Road, in the strip mall next to the , will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
