SouthSide Says 'Bring on Spring' for First Friday

Sample vodka, music and art tonight during the monthly Friday night party in South Bethlehem.

 

Bring on Spring is the theme of April’s First Friday, which will be celebrated tonight in South Bethlehem in many of the businesses along Second, Third and Fourth streets and the cross streets in between.

For happy hour, check out , which will be hosting Pucker Vodka tastings from 6 to 8 p.m.

The is hosting a “Maison Blanc Spring Open House,” which will allow visitors to wander through the hotel and take a look at the overnight rooms and ballroom space.

There will be hors d’oeuvres, barbecue samples and desserts, while the Lounge will feature Dave Loehr and karaoke starting at 8 p.m.

“Pick-a-discount” at tonight where you can get help shopping for a perfect shower gift. Local musicians Steve Brosky and Jimmy Meyer will also be there to entertain.

and are jointly hosting a two-venue show for photographer David Sestak. The exhibit, Bushkill Park—Closure, includes 65 personal photographs made over a 15-year period at the 109 year old flood damaged Lehigh Valley landmark amusement park.

Enjoy glassblowing, ceramics and jewelry making demonstrations, and visit the 25-plus resident artists in their studios. The evening also includes the opening reception for “Pulp Icons: Cast Paper and Prints by Stewart Nachmias” and the “ArtsQuest Staff Exhibition,” as well as a fun children’s art activity presented by artist Natalie Hartman.

The BC Combo plays at starting at 8 p.m. The suggested donation is $10.
