Second Bethlehem VegFest Scheduled in September

Learn about vegan, vegetarian and raw food at Sept. 8 festival at South Bethlehem Greenway.

 

The Downtown Bethlehem Association has scheduled the second annual Bethlehem VegFest on September 8.

The festival will again take place on the SouthSide Bethlehem Greenway from Adam Street to Polk Street from 11 am to 6 p.m. The Beer Garden will stay open for an extra hour for those over 21 yrs old. The event will be rain or shine.

There are few annual vegetarian food festivals across the entire nation and most are held in major cities such as Seattle, Detroit, New York City or San Francisco. 

Learn about vegetarian, vegan and raw food choices and discover the challenges and great benefits of utilizing our local agrarian environment by visiting the Speakers Tent.

Make a new friend for life by promising to cherish a dog or cat via pet adoption at the Animal Haven area. Listen to music and participate in fun, kid-friendly activities at the eARTh Center and Veggie Kid Zone. There is 19 different “segments” to the festival and over 150 vendors that all participate.
