Sands Hosts Food & Wine Festival

Taste food, wine, champagne and bourbon-whiskey at annual event. More than 20 restaurants participating.

 

More than 20 Lehigh Valley area restaurants will participate in the Lehigh Valley Food & Wine Festival, which is taking place today and Sunday at the

Local participating restaurants include Bolete Restaurant and Inn, Bravo! Cucina Italiana, Cosmopolitan, , Elegant Desserts, Hampton Winds, , Lee Gribben's on Main, Melt, Rodale Catering and Events, Savory Grille, Sette Luna, Shula's Steak House, Tapas on Main, Warm Sugar Cupcakery and Vintage Restaurant and Bar.

Participants from the include Burgers And More by Emeril, Carnegie Deli, Emeril’s Chop House, Emeril’s Italian Table, St. James Gate Irish Pub and Carvery, Villa Enterprises and Vision Bar from Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem. 

Wines from Australia, New Zealand, California, Washington and local winery Pinnacle Ridge will be featured as New World selections. Wines from South America, France, Spain, Germany and Italy will be featured as Old World selections.

In addition to participating restaurants, the Lehigh Valley Food & Wine Festival will offer three new tasting and demonstration events, for an additional cost: Jim Beam Bourbon-Whiskey Tasting, Pierre Jouet and Mumm Champagne Tasting and an Emeril Lagasse Cooking demonstration.

Funds from the Food & Wine Festival will benefit the Foundation’s National Endowment for Humanities (NEH) Challenge Grant. These funds will create an endowment that will enable public school students, college students, and the community to explore a different humanities-related theme each year.

The Food & Wine Festival is open from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. both days. General admission tickets are $75 a person for one day of the event. Jim Beam Bourbon-Whiskey Tasting tickets and Pierre Jouet and Mumm Champagne Tasting tickets are each $25, and admission to the Emeril Lagasse Cooking demonstration is $50.
