Online Retailer Expands in Bethlehem Township

Easton-based Luxury Lane plans to build new $4 million facility on Baglyos Circle.

More construction is coming to the growing office-industrial area along the Route 33 extension in Bethlehem Township—this time in the form of a 40,000-square-foot building for online outerwear retailer Luxury Lane, which already has a facility on Hilton Street just over the Easton line in Williams Township.

The $4 million project on Baglyos Circle is expected to expand—not replace—the Hilton Street facility, Mike Adams, a vice president of real estate firm NAI Summit, told The Morning Call.

NAI Summit said in a news release that it represented the buyer, Polaris Dozen LP, in the sale of Lot 9 on Baglyos Circle. Polaris Dozen, which is building the facility, bought the property for $1.2 million, according to The Call story.

"Online business is growing and is driving the expansion in this area," Adams told The Call. NAI Summit, which specializes in commercial and industrial real estate, is based in South Whitehall Township.

Luxury Lane is an online outerwear store "that specializes in affordable, unique, top-quality leather, suede, shearling, cashmere and wool coats, jackets and blazers for women and men," NAI Summit's release says.

Luxury Lane says on its website:

"Here at Luxury Lane, we are committed to providing customers the highest level of service, great product selection, while allowing them to enjoy tens of hundreds of dollars in savings on all products, every single day.

"To keep our prices low, Luxury Lane has established direct working relationships with the world's best brands and manufacturers. This means we can pass along directly to our customers in the form of savings."

Amazon.com gives Luxury Lane a feedback rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars.

According to Northampton County online records, the Luxury Lane facility at 51 Hilton St. is owned by J2 Properties LLC, which is listed under a different Williams Township address. The sale price of the Hilton Street site in May 2009 was $1.05 million, the records say.
