Obama Campaign May Set Up SouthSide Office

Off-the-market, vacant office space at 13 E. Third St. has Obama campaign material in the window.

President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign may be on the verge of opening a campaign office in South Bethlehem.

Spotted in the vacant storefront at 13 E. Third St., early Tuesday evening was a cleanup crew taking trash from a freshly carpeted space and an Obama 2012 campaign poster in the window.

Stacked behind the front window were more Obama campaign posters.

While some of the people doing the cleanup acknowledged that the president’s campaign would be using the space, a woman who was described as the property owner would not give confirmation.
