Liberty High School to Host Jobs Event Tuesday

Seminar will outline where the local jobs will be in the coming years.

Students, their parents and the public are invited to attend a free dinner seminar Tuesday, April 19 at Liberty High school outlining careers that are expected to be locally in demand in coming years.

Local leaders in the healthcare, energy and green energy, business and finance, and food and beverage industries will discuss trends and outline which jobs are in demand, along with salary information and education requirements.

Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., and the presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

A question-and-answer session will be held, and a dessert reception with the panelists will follow.

The event is sponsored by Liberty High School, Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School, Lehigh Valley Tech Prep, and Lehigh Valley Workforce Investment Board.
