Harry Connick Jr. Appearing at Moravian Book Shop

Singer, actor, musician will be signing copies of his new book and DVD at the Moravian Book Shop from 2 to 4 p.m.

 

Actor/singer/musician extraordinaire Harry Connick Jr. will be making a special appearance this afternoon at the Moravian Book Shop to sign copies of his new book and DVD, The Happy Elf.

Connick has been working behind the scenes with the Pennsylvania Youth Theatre in a stage production of The Happy Elf, which will open Saturday at the Charles A. Brown Ice House on Sand Island.

First produced as an animated-3D television special, the show is based on a song of the same name, which Connick wrote for his 2003 album, Harry for the Holidays. Connick has added some new songs and arrangements for the PYT production.

The New Orleans renaissance man’s appearance at the book shop – from 2 to 4 p.m. – was arranged in conjunction with PYT and Connick will only sign items that are purchased at the event through PYT.
