Bethlehem Tattoo Artist is in Reality Show Finale

Bethlehem tattoo artist Alexis Kovacs has made it to the finale of Oxygen’s weekly tattoo-themed reality show “Best Ink.”

Kovacs finished second in this week’s challenge, which was to tattoo an image of Michael Jackson. Her inkblot design of a silhouette of the “King of Pop” got Kovacs on-air praise from guest judge and the late pop idol’s brother, Jermaine Jackson.

Kovacs will appear in the season finale of “Best Ink,” which will air next Tuesday at 10 p.m. on Oxygen. Her competition is London, this week’s challenge winner, and Jon, who won the two weekly challenges before that. Kovacs has also been a weekly challenge winner and has finished second the last two weeks.

In her most recent blog for the Oxygen network, Alexis talked about the challenge of tattooing images of pets from the previous week’s show and her disappointment that her friend Nicky had been eliminated.
