Justice For Trayvon Martin Rally
In thanking all of the supporters that turned out for the rally on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Bethlehem's Sculpture Garden (next to Bethlehem City Hall), I have to add that the rally was peaceful, strong, successful. It was beautiful to see such a diverse group of people, young and old from Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton.
One of the things stated at the rally was that we as a people should pay attention and to not be afraid to come out and show support on any issue that needs to be enforced.
To continue to do your part as a citizen deserving of equal rights and the result of the George Zimmerman verdict go to naacp.org and sign the petition to Demand Justice For Trayvon. They need to know that Civil Rights remains an important issue, lest we go back 50+ years...
Have we come a long way?
Again the NAACP from Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton thank you for your support!
