University of Penn Museum brings India to Library

The fashions, music and dance of India are captured in an exciting program sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.

The individual states of India have unique food, clothing styles, language, music, festivals and folk dances. Experience this beautiful diversity through a fashion show, dance and music at the Main Library on Wednesday, November 6 at 6:30 PM This free, one-hour program will be presented by Prema Deshmukh. Ms. Deshmukh comes from New Delhi, India where she earned her undergraduate and Masters degrees. She completed her studies at University of Pennsylvania and is the program manager at the U of P Museum.
