The Lehigh Valley Fashion Event of the Year!

You don’t have to go to New York for a professional runway fashion show! On Wednesday February 15th you can experience one right here in Bethlehem plus exquisite gourmet food, open bar and exclusive guests-only shopping.

The Shoppes at Sands is hosting the Room to Grow Fashion Show to benefit the ’s project to build an innovative and welcoming new Children's Center at the Main Library. Area businesses are partnering to make this evening memorable. Tickets are on sale now for only $50 per person at the Main Library 11 W. Church Street, or online at www.bapl.org. Tickets must be purchased in advance and you must be 21 or older to attend.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with an open bar and sumptuous food. Former American Idol contestant Tyler Grady will entertain while guests schmooze and nosh. Sands Executive Chef Victor Bock is planning a remarkable menu. Tempt your tastebuds at chef-attended stations with Angus Beef Tenderloin, Portabello Tortelloni, Shrimp with Pernod and Artichokes. Enjoy an Antipasti table heaped with Imported and Domestic Cheeses, Seasonal Fruits with Chocolate-Grand Marnier, Crème Angelaise and Raspberry Sauces, Grilled and Marinated vegetables, and Tapas of assorted Italian meats all take center stage. And if that wasn't enought, Smoked Duck Strudel, New Zealand Lamb Chops, Szechuan-Pepper Ahi Tuna, plus Chicken and Vegetable Potstickers will be served.

The runway for the fashion show will stretch along the center of the main floor of The Shoppes at Sands. The building will be closed to the public, only open to Fashion Show guests. Professional models will showcase the spring line from DKNY, Talbots, Nine West and other The Shoppes at Sands stores, plus selections from downtown Bethlehem boutique shops Sophistikate and . PLUS: all ticket holders will automatically be entered into a chance to win a piece of jewelry from Ultra Diamonds.

The bar reopens after the runway portion of the evening. Guests will be able to sample divine desserts such as chocolate dipped strawberries, assorted pastries and petit fours and The Shoppes will reopen for two hours of private shopping. Many of the stores will offer big shopping incentives for the evening’s guests.
