Teens stalk creatures of the night...

Fascination of werewolves, ghosts and vampires is the focus of teen programming at the Bethlehem Area Public Library.

Werewolves, ghosts and vampires beware. Teens discover how to track ghosts at the Main Library, 11 W. Church Street, on Wednesday, July 18. Once they receive advice from professional ghost hunters, will other night creatures be safe? Learn Bethlehem's ghostly secrets and explore a local cemetery at this free program at 7 p.m. No registration is required. The Ghost Hunting program is open to adults, too.

Bring a friend and wear a night creature costume (think: ghosts, vampires, werewolves) for the Own the Night Party at the Main Library on Wednesday, July 25 at 7 p.m. This event is planned by teenagers for teens. Phone 610 867-3761 x499 for more information.

The South Side Branch, 400 Webster Street, is a hotspot for teens, too. The Branch hosts Creatures of the Night on Thursday, July 19 at 4 p.m. Enjoy vampire and werewolf trivia at this free event. The program is open to teens entering grades 7 to 12.

Experience the popular game, Minute to Win It, on Tuesday, July 31 at 4 p.m. at the Branch. Contestants scramble to perform ridiculous feats to beat the clock in this hilarious contest. For more information about South Side teen programs phone 610 867-7852.

Programs are limited to residents of Bethlehem, Bethlehem Township, Fountain Hill, Hanover Township (Northampton County), and Lower Saucon. In addition to teen events, it’s not too late to register for the Teen Summer Reading Program at either location and earn prizes donated by local attractions, businesses and restaurants.
