Play, Read, Write, Learn @ Your Library. We're having a Super Saturday on Nov 3

Games, multicultural stories, songs and activities for kids. Learn about eReaders and downloading eBooks for adults. Plus a write-in for aspiring writers. All on the first Saturday in November!

BAPL will be busy, busy, busy on Saturday, November 3.

Get the facts on eReaders and eBooks from the experts at the Main Library at an eBook Expo from 1 to 4 p.m. Barnes & Noble and Best Buy reps join BAPL librarians to answer questions, demonstrate eReaders and troubleshoot problems. Join us in celebrating Internationational Game Day at the Main Library, 11 W. Church Street, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the South Side Branch, 400 Webster Street, from 1 to 4 p.m. Remember back in the day how fun it was to play board games? Introduce your own children or grandchildren to favorite childhood board games at either location. Or play Wii games at the Main Library. No registration is required. Details here.

Bring the family to One World Storytime at the Main Library at 11 a.m.  Multicultural stories, songs and activities will delight preschool and elementary age children. No registration is required. Finally, aspiring authors can join in National Novel Writing Month with a Write-In Saturday on November 3 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Main Library. The challenge is to write 50,000 words in one month.
