Literary Lunch at the Library

Literary Lunch at the Library on the second Tuesday of the month. Discuss a different fascinating nonfiction book each month. This month's selection is Team of Rivals by Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Feed your intellect. Bring a bag lunch on the second Tuesday of the month to the Main Library, 11 W. Church Street, and enjoy a lively conversation about interesting nonfiction titles. The group will meet in the Laros Room on the second floor at noon on January 8. Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln by Pulitzer Prize winning author Doris Kearns Goodwin is this month’s selection. Steven Spielberg’s latest film, Lincoln, is based on her detailed account of the President’s leadership style which turned rivals into allies and shaped the history of the nation.
