Life Sized Candy Land Benefits Library

Family Fun. Play in a life-sized version of Candy Land at the Main Library on December 8 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Collect candy, make crafts and meet Santa!

Support the Library while spending an enjoyable afternoon playing with your children. Follow the rainbow trail through Peppermint Forest to Gingerbread Junction and over Gum Drop Mountain as Candy Land returns for family fun on Saturday, December 8 at the Main Library.

Play in a life-sized version of everyone’s favorite childhood board game, collect candy, and make crafts. Surprise your children with a chat with Santa when they reach the finish. The Library’s Teen Advisory Board has transformed the area on the Library’s second floor into the giant game board (the space that will eventually become the new Children’s Center). Teens have recreated magical places along the multi-colored path complete with candy citizens of the fictitious realm.

The game is open to the public between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. This is the second year for this fundraiser for the Room to Grow capital campaign to build the new Children’s Center at the Main Library. Purchase family tickets (up to 4 children) for $14.07 at the Main Library.
