Holiday Book Sale to Benefit South Side Branch
Holiday Book Sale benefits Branch. Books and music in good to excellent condition offered on Saturday, December 1.
Don’t despair if you missed the Library’s November book sale. The South Side Branch, 400 Webster Street, is hosting a Holiday Book Sale on Saturday, December 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Sale will feature thousands of books and hundreds of music CDs suitable for gifts. One room is just for children’s books. This sale will have an impressive selection of Hispanic materials, too.
The sale is set up like the book sales at the Main Library. Books are carefully chosen by volunteers and only the best make it into the sale. Everything is arranged by subject in book-store style.
The sale is on the Branch’s basement level which is, unfortunately, not handicapped accessible. Most debit and credit cards are accepted. All proceeds benefit the Branch. For more information, phone 610-867-7852.
