Ghosts, Goblins and Golf in the Library

Bring the family for Spooky Golf in the Bethlehem Area Public Library on Sunday, October 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Library will be transformed into a haunted 18 hole miniature golf course.

Dress in costume and bring a foursome to Spooky Golf which promises to be so fun, it’s frightening. On Sunday, October 14 the Main Library, 11 W. Church Street, will be transformed into a haunted miniature golf course. Ghosts, skeletons and witches will be groundskeepers for 18 sinister and challenging holes positioned between the stacks. Beware of spiders, bats and ravens! The course is open between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Not to worry, there is a baby golf hole, too, for the little ones.

The event is open to the public. Tickets may be purchased in advance or bought at the door. Tickets purchased in advance will automatically enter players in a raffle to win a Downtown Bethlehem Getaway with a night’s stay and breakfast for two at the Hotel Bethlehem, treats from Chocolate Lab and a gift certificate from Tapas on Main. Buy tickets online or at the Main Library, the South Side Branch, or the Bookmobile. The cost for adults is $7. Children pay $5 (under 3 years old are free).

Local businesses have contributed raffle prizes. Raffle winners will be announced at 3:30 p.m. Winners do not have to be present. Lunch will be available for purchase. Dieter Bros., Johnny’s Bagels, KNBT, Maher Duessel, PenTeleData, and Young Plumbing and Heating are sponsoring the event. All proceeds benefit the Room to Grow campaign to complete the Children’s Center at the Main Library and renovate the historic South Side Branch.

Phone 610-867-3761 x212 for more information. Park in any green dot space in the garage under the Library.
