Looking for great things to do with the kids this summer? Teens want to be the coolest in the heat? Make Bethlehem Area Public Library your destination!

Alway popular with kids and teens alike, Summer Reading kicks off this Saturday at the Main Library on West Church Street, and also at the South Side Branch at 4th and Webster. One World Many Stories is jam-packed with exciting programs, creative crafts and toe-tapping music, all summer long! So stop in Saturday, pick up your summer-reading log, grab a schedule of events and start reading for cool prizes!

Speaking of great popular programs: Read to Dogs returns to both locations, along with newcomer Family Fun Nights, which begins June 21 with a performance by magician and juggler Al Grout.

Also new this year is Back Porch Stories, Mondays at noon at the Main Library. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket and a bag lunch to the Library porch near the Japanese Tea Garden.

Story times, crafts and play groups are available for the pre-school crowd who can have stories read to them to earn prizes. School-age children earn prizes for reading and can enjoy crafts and games at both locations, too.
