Enjoy "meeting" baseball legend, Satchel Paige at BAPL on Saturday. After Jackie Robinson was signed to the major leagues, breaking the color barrier, Satchel Paige followed with his first major league contract at age 42 in 1948. He will be brought to life through an interactive program presented by actor and playwright Cedric Liqueur. Mr. Liqueur, who wrote the program, trained as an actor with the Royal London Shakespeare Company. For this presentation he was in constant contact with Paige’s daughter to get a better perspective of the baseball great. “He was first class in everything he did," actor and playwright Cedric Liqueur says of Mr. Paige.
