Tiffany Stained Glass is 'Hunt for History' Topic

Stained glass has long been an iconic element of American design.

In the next Hunt for History club event on Saturday, participants will learn about Louis Comfort Tiffany, the American stained glass designer, and explore his multiple works of art.

Through a hands-on presentation about stained glass windows, lamps, mosaics, and blown glass, children will realize how light and color work together to create beautiful designs—and no two glass pieces are ever the same.

Each participant will also make a one-of-a-kind faux glass creation to take home and “catch the light.”

The event, which runs from 12pm to 4pm, will be held at the 1810 Goundie House at 505 Main Street in Bethlehem.
