James Bond's "Skyfall" in Lehigh Valley Theaters This Weekend

It's a big weekend for movies as James Bond comes to Lehigh Valley theaters

  • Editor's Note: "Skyfall" is now in Lehigh Valley theaters but "Lincoln" does not open in wide release until Nov. 16.

It's a big weekend for movies as James Bond and Abraham Lincoln come to a theater near you.

  • "Skyfall": The latest entry in the 007 franchise again stars Daniel Craig and Judi Dench. Javier Bardem is the villain. Directed by Sam Mendes. 
  • "Lincoln": Steven Spielberg's historical drama stars Daniel Day-Lewis as our 16th president and opens Friday.

"A Late Quartet": A drama about a Manhattan string quartet (Christopher Walken, Catherine Keener, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Mark Ivanir) approaching its 25th anniversary. 

"Brooklyn Castle": Katie Dellamaggiore's documentary about a junior-high chess team.

"This Must Be the Place": Sean Penn stars as a rock star trying to avenge his late father in this new dramedy. 

"Head Games": This new documentary examines the risks of head trauma in the world of contact sports. It opens Friday at the SIFF Cinema at the Film Center.

"The Details: Tobey Maguire stars in this filmed-in-Seattle movie about a family battling raccoons. .

"The House I Live In: This activist documentary from director Eugene Jarecki.

"Smashed": A drama about addiction, starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Aaron Paul.

"We Won't Grow Old Together": This autobiographical film from French director Maurice Pialat.
