Harry Connick Jr. to Work with Pa. Youth Theatre

Actor and singer Harry Connick Jr. is coming to Bethlehem next week to work with the Pennsylvania Youth Theatre.

Actor and crooner Harry Connick Jr. will be in Bethlehem Monday, Sept. 24 to work with the Pennsylvania Youth Theatre on its upcoming production of "The Happy Elf," which starts Nov. 30.

The holiday musical was adapted from the original song by Connick that was later turned into a 3D-animated family television special. The script is by Lauren Gunderson and Andrew Fishman and the music and lyrics are by Connick, a Grammy Award winner.

The musical is about Eubie, one of Santa's elves who is charged with checking the "naughty and nice" list. One Christmas Eve he finds that not a single person in the town of Bluesville is on the Nice list and he heads there to turn the kids nice in time for Christmas. Β
