Get Out: Cars, Ghosts and a 'Spring Awakening'

Get some laughs with 'The Drowsy Chaperone" or "The Associated Mess.'

It’s the first weekend of the month and this Friday is April Fool’s Day but, you’re no fool. You’ve got plans for this weekend, right? Well, if you don’t here are some great suggestions.

Don’t forget that it is First Friday in South Side Bethlehem and the shopping District.  If you want a little more spark in your Friday date night, check out the Spring Awakening at Zoellner Arts Center.  If your night at the theatre prescribes hilarity, try the PA Playhouse production of the Drowsy Chaperone.

My personal favorite is the ghost weekend at Hotel Bethlehem, an intriguing adventure into the investigation of paranormal activity in the oldest hotel in Bethlehem.  If the greatest fright you want this weekend is sticker shock, then the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show is more your speed.  Kids are welcome at the auto show, but you might find Peter Pan or Eggstravaganza are on route with a kid friendly weekend.

Round out your weekend with some comedic improve at the civic theatre.
