Thoroughly Modern Millie

Set in NYC in 1922, "Thoroughly Modern Millie" concerns a young girl who goes to New York to find a job as a secretary for a wealthy boss and marry hi.  All goe awry when it is discovered that the owner of her hotel kidnaps young girls and sells them to the Far East, her wealthy boss is slow to propose, and the man she falls in love with doesn't have a dime to his name.
