LEPOCO's Annual Dinner with Ray McGovern speaking on "The Moral Imperative of Activism."

LEPOCO's annual fundraising banquet features a vegetarian feast, an art raffle, a speaker, and music by the LEPOCO Peace Singers. Ray McGovern will be the keynote speaker.

Ray McGovern is a former CIA analyst who worked for President's John F. Kennedy through George H.W. Bush. In January 2003, Ray helped create Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) to expose the way
intelligence was being falsified to “justify” war on Iraq. He is best known for his public confrontations of then-Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in 2006, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in February 2011. Ray is a member of Veterans For Peace and a very committed peace activist.

Pre-dinner music at 5pm. Dinner at 5:30pm.

Dinner tickets ($30 regular adult; $75 special supporter; $10 limited income/child) by advance reservation only. Program-only tickets ($10 regular adult; $5 limited income/child) are available at the door.

Volunteers are needed to help the day of the event.
