A Ghana family night (All Are Welcome)

Welcome Queen Mother Esther Nartekie Kpabitey. Queen Esther is the leader of the Queen Mothers Association in the Manye-Krobo District, Ghana which consists of more than 370 Queen Mothers. "The Every Child is Our Child" program is run by the Queen Mothers Association and seeks to eliminate the concept of an orphan by placing children whose parents have died with families (often their own) who will treat the child as their own. The Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office supports this program by paying school fees and health insurance for the children. Read more about the UU-UNO program »here.

She is the guest of John and Fran Kennedy, and their host during their stay in Ghana. We will celebrate her visit with a family night starting with a potluck followed by clothes from Ghana to model, stools to sit on, instruments to play, food, games, activities, slides, and stories.

Tell your friends and family - join us for this fun and educational evening.
