  • WHY GO: Get ready for some irreverent holiday humor at the Christmas City Follies! The annual vaudevillian show will be sure to bring a tear to your eye and some cheer in your holiday.

PIRATE PETE ISLAND CHRISTMAS/ COMMUNITY CHORUS HOLIDAY CONCERT ()

  • WHERE/WHEN: NCC, Kopecek Hall, Lipkin Theatre, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem Thursday, 11 a.m. Pirate Pete, Friday Concert, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, 1 p.m. holiday carnival, 2 p.m. Pirate Pete.
  • WHY GO:  Bring the kids to NCC for the Pirate Pete show as the cast and crew prove to the 21st Century Virginia that there is indeed a Santa Claus. Saturday’s performance will be preceded by a holiday carnival with fun and games. On Friday night, Rosemary Murdy-Haber will direct the community chorus will perform holiday favorites ranging from hymns, Silent Night, to classic carols, Here We Come A-Wassailing, and topping off the evening with The Hallelujah Chorus.
  • PRICING: Admission $5 to benefit the NCC Choir Scholarship, or donate a non-perishable food item for a local food bank for all events.

 

ANNIE THE MUSICAL ()

  • WHERE/WHEN: , 57 River Street, Bethlehem, Friday, 7 p.m., Saturday & Sunday, 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
  • WHY GO: It’s opening weekend!  Fall in love with the determined little orphan Annie all over again as she gets rescued from the horrible Miss Hannigan to find a new home with Daddy Warbucks. 
  • PRICING: Tickets, $20 premiere seating, Adult $15, Child (3-12) & Seniors (65+) $12.

 

BROADWAY CHRISTMAS CAROL (PA PLAYHOUSE)

  • WHERE/WHEN: Illick’s Mill Road, Bethlehem, Friday & Saturday 8 p.m. and Sunday 3 p.m.
  • WHY GO: It’s Dicken’s but not like you remember it.  Scrooge belts out the show tunes, parodying Broadway hits in a cheeky and raucous alternative to the classic. 
  • PRICING: Tickets, Adult $22, Students (under 18), Seniors (65+) $19.

 

JINGLE BELL RUN/WALK FOR ARTHRITIS (ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION)

  • WHERE/WHEN: NCC, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, Saturday, 8 a.m. registration, 10 a.m. race.
  • WHY GO: Jingle all the way to help the Arthritis Foundation in their fight against the most common cause of disability. Be there with bells on, literally.
  • PRICING: Registration, Adult $30, Youth (2-17) $20, Kids Fun Run (12 and under) $15. Add $5 to registration after Friday. Contact Bettina McClure 610-776-6632.

 

DECK THE HALLS ()

  • WHERE/WHEN: , 66 W. Church Street, Bethlehem, Saturday, noon – 4 p.m.
  • WHY GO: While your shopping in Downtown Bethlehem, take the kids to tour the Moravian Museum with the family and learn about the history of holiday decorations and customs. Kids will make their own decorations with fresh greens and ribbon right before enjoying some holiday refreshments.  
  • PRICING: FREE for children with paid adult admission of $7

 

BURNSIDE CRAFTERS ANNUAL HOLIDAY GREENS SALE ()

  • WHERE/WHEN: Burnside Plantation, 1461 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem, Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. & Sunday, noon – 4 p.m.
  • WHY GO: Go green and deck the halls with wreaths, swag, garlands and bouquets hand made by Burnside Crafters.
