52ND ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PEACE PILGRIMAGE ()

  • WHERE/WHEN: Meet at 520 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem, Saturday, 10:45 a.m. Dinner & Lecture at 5:30 p.m. Participants will be bussed and depart from Nazareth Moravian Church on Center Square.
  • WHY GO: The 10-mile trek, a symbolic journey of Mary and Joseph from Nazareth to Bethlehem, provides a time to reflect on non-violence, forgiveness and hope sojourners seeking a more peaceful world. Participants can join a meal and lecture on peace at on Market and Center streets at the end of their pilgrimage.

14th ANNUAL LUMINARIA NIGHT ()

  • WHERE/WHEN: Throughout Bethlehem, Saturday, 5 p.m.
  • WHY GO: Light the night with hope for all the families that benefit from the services of New Bethany Ministries by purchasing a kit or just walk through Downtown Bethlehem and enjoy the enchanting scenery and Christmas spirit that fills the shops and streets.

33RD ANNUAL LIVE BETHLEHEM CHRISTMAS PAGEANT ()

  • WHY GO: See the birth of Jesus reenacted with singing, narration, actors and live animals, a reminder that the reason for the season is a tiny infant born of a simple carpenter and the young Mary.
