ON-STAGE CABARET: JUDY WEXLER ()

WHERE/WHEN: Zoellner Arts Center, 420 E. Packer Ave., Bethlehem, Friday, dinner, 6 p.m., dinner, 7 p.m. show; show only at 9 p.m.
WHY GO: Wexler is a natural storyteller wrapping her smooth as silk voice around her distinctive jazz sound. Come early for dinner and a show or come later for the show with cash bar.

ELISABETH VON TRAPP (ARTSQUEST)

WHY GO: The valley is alive with the sound of music! The granddaughter of Maria and Baron von Trapp will grace the stage and take participants on a musical journey from Bach to Broadway and Shubert to Sting. Enjoy lunch from the Musikfest Café’s special holiday menu after the 11 a.m. show and before the 2 p.m. show.

DANCE SOUP ()

WHERE/WHEN: LVPA Black Box Theatre, 675 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, Friday, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, 2 p.m. & 7:30pm and Sunday, 2 p.m.
WHY GO: LVPA has attracted some of the best local youth dance talent. This is their moment to shine! Watch as the dance department performs the student choreographed projects in the improvisation and dance composition classes. A treat for dance enthusiasts of all ages.

WHY GO: Search for that special local wine to accompany your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner by sampling a few from the first vintages of the new harvest of red wines on the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail. This will be the last wine trail for the season.
