Weekend Forecast: Warm and Sunny

Mother Nature will reward us this weekend for surviving Hurricane Sandy and the recent cold snap

A warm and sunny weekend is in the forecast following the weather-related misery of the past two weeks that brought Hurricane Sandy followed by colder than usual temperatures.

The National Weather Service says Saturday, Sunday and Monday will all be sunny with temperatures into the low 60s and nighttime lows well above freezing.

WFMZ meteorologist Matt Broderick says,

"Saturday looks pleasant with partly sunny skies and highs near 60 degrees. Sunday looks great with sunshine and highs soaring into the middle 60s. Veterans Day looks warm as well with highs in the middle 60s under partly sunny skies."
