Wanted: Steering Wheels from 1940s-60s Cars

The America on Wheels Museum wants your old steering wheel for a new display

Forty "suicide" spinner steering wheel knobs from the 1940s and 1950s have been donated to the America on Wheels Museum in Allentown.

The museum is seeking donations of 12 "excellent condition" American-made steering wheels from cars from the 1940s through early 1960s so the spinners can be placed on them and displayed in the museum's Hub Cap Cafe.

Contact Liz Hahn, head of the museum "steering" committee, at 610-432-4200.
