Time to Register for City Halloween Parade

Here's how to register for the Bethlehem Halloween Parade on October 30.

If the leaves are starting to change color, it must mean it’s time to sign up for the Bethlehem Halloween Parade.

The 90th edition of the annual parade starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30. (Rain date is Monday, Oct. 31.) The route starts at 16th Avenue and Broad Street and winds through the city for about 1.5 miles, according to Jane Persa, recreation administrator for Bethlehem‘s Bureau of Recreation.

“Anybody can sign up,” Persa said, though she emphasized that participants and their vehicles must be decorated for Halloween. The parade is expected to end by about 3:30 p.m. The best viewing spots for spectators will likely be from Eighth Avenue to Main Street, Persa suggested.
