Original Report:

If you are longing for a white Christmas this year, chances are your wish will be fulfilled, according to several weather forecasters.

The National Weather Service says snow is likely Monday night, which is Christmas Eve.

WFMZ agrees according to its Facebook post Saturday saying, "A white Christmas is now likely with a low moving just to our south Monday night into Tuesday morning." There's also a story on WFMZ's website saying we can expect a white Christmas.

And Lehigh Valley Weather posted on Facebook that several models are forecasting two to four inches of snow Christmas Eve.

So what's your reaction to the forecast? Tell us in the comment section below.

Feel bad for the township workers if they have to go out and work to plow the streets. I.m sure they would like to be home with their families. Other than that, I think a light snow on Christmas Eve is beautiful. Everyone comes bundled up to Midnight Mass and there is such a feeling of Christmas. Celebrating the most Holy of Days, snow falling, friends and strangers wishings Merry Christmas to everyone. Yes, I think a snow would be lovely, except for those who have to make the roads safe for all of us.

Judy and Mary Anne, I agree with both of you. I'm excited to see a little snow but hope it's just enough to make everything pretty rather than dangerous. But I'd much rather have snow than ice!

"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!" Merry Christmas everyone! Wishing everyone a wonderful, SAFE, holiday. Our first grandchild is going to be born today! We're anxiously waiting to get the call from my daughter to come to the hospital - both my son-in-law's mother and I are going to be there in the labor room when he/she is born (we have no idea if it's a boy or girl yet! Surprise!) So I pray that we do get snow, but hope that it's a light snow and that the streets aren't slippery when the kids come home. Thank you in advance to all the hard city/twp workers who work overtime to keep our streets safe to drive on.
