Snakes at the Sands? No Way, Casino Rep Says
Persistent Facebook rumor of slithering reptiles on the casino floor prompted response from Sands officials.
The Facebook rumors apparently grew so persistent that the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem felt compelled to respond on Tuesday.
No, there are no snakes inside the casino.
“There have been no reported incidents of snakes on our property,” casino spokeswoman Julia Corwin said in a brief emailed statement. “We do not allow any animals on property with the exception of Service animals.”

The rumor making the rounds, according to The Express Times, says that someone visited a doctor with what they believed to be a bite, the doctor told the patient that it is a snakebite and immediately asked whether the patient had recently visited the Sands.
