See Live Eagles at Lehigh Valley Museum Saturday

Live eagles will star in "Eaglefest" at Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum

The Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum in Allentown will host Eaglefest 2012 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 24.

Admission to the event is:

  • Free for members
  • $7 for adults
  • $5 for children

The event will feature:

Find out what's happening in Bethlehemwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • Showing of the award-winning documentary American Eagle and presentations by the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society and by Hawk Mountain Santuary, starting at 11 a.m.
  • Live eagle demonstration by Bill Streeter, master falconer and director of the Delaware Valley Raptor Center at 1 p.m.
  • Native American legends of crows, owls, and more during interactive story-telling sessions.
  • A special egg hunt as visitors search for eggs resembling those of eagles, owls, and falcons. Identify your finds by matching them to pictures.  
  • Crafts and games for kids.

The museum is located at 432 West Walnut Street in Allentown.
