Last Chance to Win Prizes in Halloween Photo Contest

Upload your favorite Halloween photo for a chance to win tickets to the corn maze and pumpkin patch at Seiple Farms near Bath

Halloween is fast approaching and the third - and final - round of Patch's Lehigh Valley Photo Contest has begun.

Patch is giving away tickets to the corn maze and pumpkin patch at Seiple Farms in Bath (East Allen Township).

Next Friday morning, two lucky winners will be chosen at random to get four tickets each for the 12-acre corn maze.

Entering is easy.

Just upload a photo like the ones accompanying this article — something that says Halloween! To do so, click the green words above this article that say Upload Photos and Videos and follow the simple prompts. (If you don't have a Patch account, it's free and easy to create one.)

What photo to pick? It might be a great costume you whipped up for the kids last year, something you had a blast wearing in years past, a shot of a dressed-up pet, something from awesome Halloweens long, long ago.

Just make it Halloweeny and cute.

We will pick a winner at random from all photo entries and announce the winner on this site by 10 a.m. Friday, October 12.

The fine print:

  • All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, October 11 Eastern Time.
  • You may only enter once.
  • We will choose the two weekly winners at random. (Each photo upload generates a unique number and that number will be chosen randomly by random.org.)

If you can attach a photo to an email you can upload a photo to any Patch, but just in case you need help, email the editor at the top of the site or Associate Regional Editor Mary Ellen Alu at maryellen.alu@patch.com.

We can walk you through any part, any time.

Good luck!

I have read the rules and it says "You may enter ONCE", so after last weeks winners were chosen I guess you can ONLY win ONCE no matter how many photos you enter? Is this correct? Can someone help me on this?
Mary Ellen Alu (Editor) October 6, 2012 at 12:29 pm
Hi Laurie. One photo/entry only per week; the others entries are disqualified and not included in the random drawing.

I am confused, offended and upset that the "Halliween photo" contest ends on Oct 11 considering that Halloween is not until 10/31. My children (and am sure many others) do not observe Halloween until the actual date.

I am sorry we have upset you. This is supposed to be fun. And a prize of corn maze tickets won't do folks much good when the corn maze closes after Halloween. However, understand that another Patch Halloween contest will be launched next week that will run through the end of the month. We can't give you more details just yet, but please watch for it. In the meantime, have you no photos from previous Halloweens that you can enter?

We have ANOTHER Halloween contest starting Oct. 15. Details to follow!

The Big Bird costume (on the little guy) is very appropriate this presidential season!

Just pointing out facts. You are also forgetting that money withdrawn from an IRA or 401k (exceptRead More Roth IRAs) are taxed at withdrawal. I prefer my government not punish good financial actions. Sorry it's a quirk of mine, I think we should reward those who make good decisions, not punish them.

I agree with you Interested Bystander. Problem is that if you punish the ones making the badRead More decisions, the Federal government will be punished all the time. In the current climate, poor decision making gets rewarded by voters. The middle class doesn't have a chance.

Naziti and Caroline Johnson so sorry to take so long to get back to you from your comments onRead More Sunday, May 5th, I didn't think I would have to respond. I re-posted Ken's comment because the REAL issue is "AARP selling out it's faithful supporters for BIG MONEY. So let me break it down so even the Soros trolls understand. ObamaCare guts SS and medicare reserve money by 750 Billion. Which ends these programs as we know them. AARP publicly backs ObamaCare. Seniors confused about OCare but trust AARP and their massive ad campaign for OCare. AARP contributes to re-election AARP becomes insurance provided for OCare. Unleashes host of insurance options that Seniors will be needing to make decisions about in next 2-3 years. Complicate the choices for Seniors so they fall back on who they have trusted in the past. Still unaware of the great deception perpetrated by AARP. OCARE fully enacted 2014. AARP gets steady $$$ insurance income now (not $16 membership fees for whoever posted that line above). SS and MediCare bankrupt (3/4 trillion $ stolen to fund OCare) Result for SENIORS. NO SS or MEDicare it's dissolved or becomes something less. Free OCare that sucks. Pay AARP for supplemental Ins. Prescriptions too expensive to purchase so go without or pay AARP for better plan. AARP richer and more powerful represents Gvmt Seniors - Self rule lost You see they screwed the very people that paid dues for their protection!
