Flash Flood Warning Closes Musikfest Saturday

Lehigh and Northampton Counties have received three inches of rain in the last few hours.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning in the Lehigh Valley area until early Sunday morning.

Radar indicates Lehigh and Northampton counties got three inches of from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. That amount of rain can quickly flood roads.

The severe weather also cut Musikfest short Saturday night including the Nick Jonas concert at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem, according to The Morning Call. Much of Musikfest runs along the Monacacy Creek, which could rise significantly in the rain.
