Daylight Saving Time Ends 2 a.m. Sunday

You get an extra hour to sleep or recover from Hurricane Sandy tonight

Maybe you just reset all your clocks after Hurricane Sandy power outages, but it's time to change them again.

Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday.

Remember, you'll "fall back" and set your clocks back one hour Saturday night before you go to bed. Many electronic devices automatically adjust when Daylight Saving Time begins or ends.

When you change your clocks in the fall and spring, it’s also a good time to change smoke detector batteries and check to make sure other devices are in working order.

If you're contacting friends or business in other states, remember that Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe Daylight Saving Time.
