2-4 Inches of Snow Expected on Tuesday

Messy morning commute is likely, as National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory.

A second winter storm in three days is expected to bring Bethlehem and the rest of the Lehigh Valley another two to four inches of snow on Tuesday, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

And just as the Sunday night storm made Monday morning’s commuting tricky, this storm could play havoc with your Tuesday morning travel.

The weather service has issued another winter weather advisory for the area, this one starting at 6 a.m. Tuesday and continuing until 5 p.m. The bulk of the snow is expected to fall by 2 p.m., according to the weather service.

The advisory states that we can expect “moderate to severe travel impacts during the morning commute.” Some icing is expected along with the accumulating snow.

The forecast high temperature is 33 degrees, while the temperature is expected to fall to 15 on Tuesday night.
