Thursday: Fashion For A Cause at Sands Outlets

Also, 'Noises Off,' Strides for Hope and David Cook at the Musikfest Cafe.

The Auxiliary of St. Luke’s University Hospital will present its 26th Annual Fashion For A Cause from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Outlets at Sands Bethlehem.

Fashion For A Cause 2013 is an evening of fabulous fashions, open bar, delectable food and exclusive shopping privileges. This year’s show will feature clothing from The Outlets at Sands Bethlehem, Sophistikate and LM Style Bar. 

Tickets cost $75 per person and are available online at www.sluhn.org/fashionshow or by calling 1-866-STLUKES (1-866-785-8537). Attendees must be 21 years of age or over.

All proceeds benefit Get Your Tail on the Trail initiative. Tail on the Trail is a community wellness initiative that strives to get people moving and get healthier by taking advantage of the outdoor resources in our own backyards.

  • Get some professional training to prepare for the upcoming St. Luke’s Half Marathon and 5K through Strides for Hope, which raises money for the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley, a nonprofit organization that provides support, education, and hope to people impacted by cancer. Learn more by attending the Strides for Hope kickoff meeting at Aardvark Sports Shop in the Shoppes at Main Street Commons in the historic downtown at 7 p.m. Thursday.
  • David Cook, rock singer-songwriter who rose to fame after winning the seventh season of the reality television show American Idol, appears at the Musikfest Café at 8 p.m. Thursday. A special VIP event, which includes a meet-and-greet with the artist begins at 5:30 and costs $72. Regular tickets are from $22 to $32.
