It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Bethlehem.

The giant tree is up in Payrow Plaza, Christmas decorations are being installed on city utility polls and preparations are under way for Christkindlmarkt at SteelStacks.

Some snow showers could be added to the picture early Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Here’s what else is going on in Bethlehem:

  • Do you want to learn about Facebook, how to use it, privacy settings, posting photos, etc? The Wesley Church at 2540 Center St., is holding a class at 10 a.m. This session is great for older folks who want to learn about social media and use it to stay in touch with family. Cost is $10.
  • The South Side Branch of the Bethlehem Area Public Library, 400 Webster St., is hosting an adult computer class for those who want to learn to use Powerpoint 2010. Session runs from 10 a.m. to noon. Call 610-867-7852 for more information or to register.
  • Join a Bethlehem Area Public Library discussion on new titles for children at 6:30 p.m. in the main branch on Church Street. Read at least five titles and contribute your opinions on and best use in classroom or school library setting. Arrive early and view other new titles on display. Contact the Youth Services Department for details, registration, and copies of titles at 610-867-3761, x.399 or option #3.
  • From 7 to 10 p.m., it’s time for Drink N’ Draw at SteelStacks—a creative combination of life drawing models for inspiration, local musicians to set the mood and a bar close by. This is an opportunity to draw while you mingle with other local artists. There is no prerequisite talent required, beginners to expert, everyone is welcome. A $6 cover charge goes toward compensation for the models and musicians.
  • Godfrey Daniels hosts its monthly bluegrass jam at 7:30 p.m. It’s a fine music circle in the tradition. Bring your instruments and your voice, or come just to listen and tap your feet. Admission is free.
