Outdoor Film Adventures: Papua New Guinea

POSTPONED TO SATURDAY, FEB. 16: "Papua New Guinea and India's Forgotten Province", a narrated slide presentation of the large island north of Australia and the two northeast provinces of India, is the fourth program offered by Outdoor Film Adventures.

The program will be presented by on Saturday, Feb. 9 by Russell Grander, past president of Bethlehem Steel International Engineering Corporation. He will be available to take questions from the audience.

The showing will begin at 7:30 p.m. at The Pennsylvania Playhouse, 390 Illicks Mill Road, Bethlehem. The program is the fourth in a series of five presentations offered this season by OFA, now in its 65th year.

The final show is “The Heart of San Francisco”, narrated in person by internationally acclaimed, award-winning filmmaker Sandy Mortimer. It will be held Saturday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m., also at Pennsylvania Playhouse.

Individual program tickets are $9 each for adults, and $4 each for students. Tickets for both shows are $16 for adults and $7 for students.

The Pennsylvania Playhouse is a non-profit community theater hosting a variety of performances throughout the year that are directed, designed and performed by volunteers. Patrons enjoy an intimate experience with seats no further than nine rows from the stage. The playhouse also offers classes for children and young adults in acting and performance techniques, stage and set design, costumes and lighting.
