This organization, which serves Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties, provides region-wide relief to families who have been displaced from their homes by fire, flood or other disasters. It also provides a referral service to connect people in need with help. As part of the national organization, it conducts blood drives, teaches preparedness classes and coordinates local volunteer efforts to provide disaster relief for international victims of natural disasters. It also provides communication between local loved ones and soldiers who are stationed abroad.
