More About The Banana Factory
Located in a former banana warehouse and distribution center, The Banana Factory is an arts and education center. The space features studios for 26 resident artists, as well as a glass studio, three art galleries, a darkroom, a theatre space and more. It offers a variety of classes through ArtsQuest for all ages and abilities, including jewelry, visual arts, photography, children's and teen classes and others. The center also hosts First Fridays every month, in which local vendors and galleries open their doors for a family-friendly community event. Programming rotates monthly and there's a schedule on the website of what to expect each month.
