We invite you to our 45th Annivesary concert on Saturday, May 19, 2012 7:30 pm at Christ Church UCC 75 E Market St Bethlehem, PA.  The program will feature Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms with harp, percussion, organ and soloist.   Alto soloist for this piece is Jamir Tynes-Smith of the Philadelphia Boys Choir.  CCS will also sing an eclectic mix of choral music accompanied by friends on flute, cello and double bass. 

Most notably this is the Farewell Concert for Dr. Blaine Shover, conductor/founder of the Concord Chamber Singers, and their accompanist Eileen Wavrek Wescoe.  Ms. Wescoe has been accompanist for CCS since 1990 but is also well-known in the Lehigh Valley as accompanist for Camarata Singers as well as for Lehigh University Choral Arts.

CCS Friends featured in this program include Lauren Curnow, mezzo-soprano and voice instructor at Muhlenberg College; Stephen Williams, organist and Director of Music at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown; Dr. Ron Demkee, Conductor of the Allentown Band; Matthew Becker, percussionist and son of Raymond Becker Jr. prior conductor of the Allentown Marine Band; guitarist London Shover, Los Angeles CA musician and son of Dr. Blaine Shover, and more! A catered reception will follow the concert.
