You Can Cast a Vote Worth $10,000
Ten local charities are vying for money in the ISS Cares Campaign
A national staffing company called ISS is marking its first anniversary in the Lehigh Valley by gearing up to give $10,000 to local charities.
Residents have a voice in which non-profit organizations get the money. Voting for the ISS Cares Campaign will continue online until November 11 .
The charity that gets the most votes will receive $5,000. The second highest vote getter will win $2,000. The following three vote getters will receive $1,000 each.
Ten groups are vying for the money:
- Allentown Rescue Mission
- American Cancer Society
- American Red Cross
- Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley
- Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley
- Meals on Wheels
- Pinebrook Family Services
- The Salvation Army
- Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley
- Wildlands Conservancy
Anyone with a valid e-mail address can vote once per day for every e-mail address that they have (such as work and home). Voters can view results in real time.
