Total Image Salon is a great new salon been there for a year, they are located where lisa cuts and curls used to be. It is ran by a licensed cosmetology teacher and they are great at what they do.

Total Image Salon, they do all types of hair even people who are mixed like my daughter, and do everything extensions,color cutting and very affordable for a working single parent. Love them they are like family, I will be at the 1 yr anniversary party.

The core reason people come to Blown Color Studio is to be a part of family. We celebrate the joys of life with our clients and grieve with them when tradegy strikes. I have to say not every one can cut ethnic hair and they can, they fixed a messed up cut with my daughter who was scared to get her hair cut. Now she cant wait to go back, we won a gift certificate to there salon through one of their many donatins they do in the valley and I still say hands down to be best haircut place inbethlehem means cutting and styling all Hair Textures not just what you are accustumed to.

Lara, you make an interesting point. There are very few salon's downtown that are willing and able to tackle Multi-Cultural Hair needs. At Blown Color Studio, we work with any hair type that is presented. We have qualified stylist and assistants that are experienced in braids, weaves, and straightening treatments. Blown Color Studio by far does the best work in the Lehigh Valley. The service is high-quality; the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful; and I walk out of the salon feeling like the best version of myself. As someone who (unfortunately) has to dye her hair red (silly genetics...), color services in the past have cost me a small fortune. Blown uses high-quality products that not only make my color look unique and vibrant, but the color is by far the most fade-resistant I've ever encountered (and my fellow red dye addicts know the pain of the fade). And to top it off, my hair looks and feels healthier AFTER my color treatment. It's a wonder what a difference top-of-the-line products make.

Blown does excellent work and does so in an affordable way. Honestly, it's the best salon in the Valley. Hands down.

While I believe in healthy competition, I am not really a fan of these online voting things. Every salon in this area is great and we all should be sticking together and supporting our field!! The hair salon industry really needs to be more unified. Eskandalo is my shop and I love it to pieces. Our clients are awesome and we all love what we do! That's all I need :) -Alison Leigh

I love working for Inspired by You! I really enjoy watching people come into our salon for the first time. You can actually see relaxation wash over them. They smile and almost always say "Oh. Wow! It's really nice in here!" The group of people I work with are amazing. Not only does our clientele get great with smiles and helpfulness the second they walk through the door but we treat each other that way too! I agree with the above comments - Lux: The Eco-Friendly Salon (www.luxecosalon.com) is one of the best salons in the Lehigh Valley. When I first moved to the area, I salon hopped resulting bad haircut after bad haircut until I came across Lux. I was instantly impressed with their mission, their environmentally friendly methods, and their staff. The stylists there are incredible with skills unsurpassed in the region. Moreover, there is not an air of importance within the salon. Just because one trained with Nick Arrojo does not mean one IS Nick Arrojo. This is reflected in their price listing; a great cut and color does not need to be over $200 in BETHLEHEM. New York prices can stay in New York.
Given that their prices are reasonable, the salon has heart & character, and the stylists are actually talented, Lux is hands down the best salon in Bethlehem in addition to the entire Lehigh Valley.

LUX Eco Friendly Salon! Not only do they make you look great but help you FEEL great too! Their color has *no* ammonia in it so there are no yucky chemical smells, nail polishes are vegan & all hair clippings are used for a good cause.

Lux all the way, baby!!! Not only is it a beautiful salon, but the girls there are absolutely fantastic!! I end up staying there longer than my appointment, just because I want to hangout with all the lovely ladies while staring at my awesome new do!!

Blown Color Studio is the only place for me! I can't count the number of different salons I've been to, Blown is friendly, welcoming and fantastic. I found Chrissy and Andrew years ago and have been following them ever since. Every time I try out someone new, I end up needing to go and get my hair fixed. Chrissy and Andrew are the only people I've ever trusted to make me feel like me with my hair. They are also the only people I've ever felt comfortable enough that when asked what I want done, I always say "Do whatever you want, I know it will be amazing!"

Can't believe there is a salon on here saying that nobody does ethnic/coarse hair..that is so not true!! Tosha is new to Blown Color Studio but she does amazing work. She's the valley's best kept secret!

I've had my hair done by every stylist at Blown and always went home happy. They're one of the few salons in Bethlehem that offer high fashion, current styles without a stuffy atmosphere. Andrew turned my dark-almost-black hair blonde within 2 visits, and my hair is as healthy as ever and not orangey at all. They always have some kind of fun promotion too (I got to hunt for Easter eggs while my color processed last night, lol). Everyone needs to try them, they won't be disappointed at all!

I am very surprised Lux is not on the list. When I first moved to the Lehigh Valley from Philly, I continued to travel to my old salon for a haircut, which was a huge pain. Then a friend recommended Lux. With each visit, I'm beyond impressed.

From their environmentally-friendly mission, to their beautiful and serene decor, their safe products and the incredible things Diana has done to my hair, they've got a client for life. From the owner Stephanie, to Diana, to the rest of the girls, everyone on the staff is sweet, accommodating and just a joy to be around. Going to Lux is a fun and wonderful experience, and I look forward to every visit.

I'm getting ready to move once again in the next few months, and so I'll be back to traveling a distance to get my hair done, but since I'll be traveling to Lux, it will be way worth it.
